A plant-based lifestyle is the only way of eating that has been scientifically proven to improve or reverse chronic disease*

In a qualitative research study conducted by Dr. Virginia Stalling's, Director of Nutrition Center at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, her team thoroughly tested SmartPlate TopView for weight accuracy, nutrition accuracy, and efficiency. Here's what they found:

  • SmartPlate TopView was +/- 10 calories per serving in all foods tested
  • SmartPlate TopView was +/- 1.5 grams in carbohydrates in all foods tested
  • SmartPlate TopView's scales (there are three) were 98-99% accurate with all foods measured

For adults, The World Health Organization recommends at least 400 grams (5 portions) of fruits and vegetables a day. But how do you measure and track this accurately? That's where SmartPlate comes in! It helps you easily measure, accurately track your meals and daily goals so you don't have to.

Evidence that Portion
Control Plates Work

In this study , 130 obese patients with Type 2 Diabetes used portion control plates to track their food intake. They were split into two groups and here's what happened:
Group 1
65 obese patients w/Type 2 Diabetes used portion control plates to track their largest meal of the day.
Group 2 (Control)
65 obese patients w/Type 2 Diabetes received regular care and coaching.
Four times as many more patients from group 1 lost 5% or more body weight (considered scientifically significant) than group 2.
26% of those who used the plate were able to cut back on diabetes medication.
20% more patients in group 2 required an increase in hypoglycemic medication compared to group 1.
